During the start of the 2020 school year, the EDLI team collaborated with the Provost’s Office, MSU Hub, and MSU IT to create a policy regarding web cameras and virtual instruction. This work leveraged EDLI’s extensive experience working with faculty and students in the classroom, and connected it to administrative decision-making to create a policy that was equitable and inclusive for students while also recognizing the impacts on the teaching process for faculty and acknowledging existing institutional policies.
