Every instructor wants to create a meaningful and engaging learning experience, but how do we know if students genuinely connect with the material? Traditional student evaluations often come at the end of the semester, leaving educators with valuable insights—but no opportunity to act on them for the current students.
This is where MidFACT—Midsemester Feedback for Actionable Course Transformation—steps in.
Unlike end-of-semester evaluations, MidFACT provides structured midsemester feedback, allowing educators to understand what’s working well and what needs adjustment while the course is still in progress. It’s about listening to students when it matters most and making informed changes that benefit their learning experience.
Our team of researchers at EDLI (Evidence Driven Learning Innovation) will collect the data from your students and will share an aggregated results to you. This report will only be shared to you and will not be shared to the department/for other evaluation.
For a sample report, please check out Jeya’s recent blog post.

As part of the project, we will also be collecting instructor feedback at the end of the semester to continuously improve our project support for educators.
